Two men were arrested Friday in Troy after a long-term drug trafficking investigation.

Crews seized fentanyl, methamphetamine and marijuana during the raid in the 900 block of Garfield Avenue, said Miami County Sheriff Dave Duchak.

Investigators serving a search warrant also found several baggies containing suspected narcotics that were prepackaged for sale, he said.

Jonathan I. Reineke, 34, of Troy and Jonathan R. Rivers, 38, of Piqua were arrested and taken into custody.

Reineke’s arrest warrant was for a probation violation from a previous drug offense, while River’s arrest warrant was for non-support of dependents.

“Detectives will be conferring with the Miami County Prosecutor’s Office reference trafficking in narcotics charges,” Duchak said. “The investigation is ongoing.”
